Christus Rex
Christus Rex is for youth in grades 1-5. We gather every-other Tuesday night from 5:30 – 7:30 pm from October to May. It will start on Tuesday, October 13th. We meet in the St. James Church hall where we explore our faith in a dynamic way through games, a brief catechesis talk, a break with snacks, and activities.
Our goal with Christus Rex is threefold:
- help the youth encounter Christ in a personal way, and grow closer to Him
- have fun at Church
- form good friendships. Friendships with volunteers, mentors, role models - people they can look up to, who will lead them closer to Christ. And friendships with other youth their age!

What happens at a Christus Rex night?
Christus Rex consists of games, a brief catechesis talk, a break with snacks, and activities, like baking, crafts, and more!
When does Christus Rex run?
Christus Rex will run every-other Tuesday night from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm on the following dates:

Is there a fee?
Attending Christus Rex is completely free! If you feel called to give, donations are always gratefully appreciated and help support the costs of running the ministry.
What does Christus Rex mean?
Christus Rex is a Latin phrase that means "Christ the King." Jesus Christ is not just the Good Shepherd, the Bread of Life - He is King; in fact, He is God in the flesh! He is the King of all Kings!

How can I sign up as a volunteer?
Volunteers are invited to share their interests and skills to find the best avenue to volunteer (such as leading activities, giving talks, running games, administrative assistance, donating food or resources, etc).
